This single-stage drive covers 16.64 km in about 33 minutes through Greasby, Heswall, Thurstaston and Woodchurch, with limits from 20 to 60 mph. With only four roundabouts it is among the lightest for roundabouts at the Upton test centre, and it reaches further south into the Irby and Pensby lanes than most routes here.

Watch Out For

  • The 60 mph country section on Telegraph Road, judging bends and oncoming traffic.
  • Tighter residential turns off Pensby Road.
  • Give way to the right at each roundabout and signal left on exit.
