At 22.13 km and about 44.6 minutes, this is the longest route run out of the Bletchley test centre, both in distance and time. It covers Newton Longville, Water Eaton, the Lakes Estate and Old Bletchley, with speeds from 20 mph residential streets up to the 70 mph Stoke Hammond and Linslade Western Bypass.

Watch Out For

• Ten roundabouts and eight give-way junctions, more give-way points than nearly every other route at this centre.
• Three separate 20 mph school areas, including one by School Drive in Newton Longville.
• A cycle lane crossing near Grasmere Way on the Lakes Estate.

Route Features

• Eight left turns and eight right turns, an even split that gives examiners a wide mix of junctions to mark.
• The only route here that reaches the national speed limit on a genuine dual carriageway bypass before looping back through the town centre.

The pull up on the left is practised at this kerbside stop, close to Church Green Road near the test centre.

Key Tips

• Pace yourself, this is the longest test here so stay sharp through all four sets of traffic lights near the end.
• Check mirrors well before each of the ten roundabouts, most give way to the right on a small island.
