Covering 19.31 km in about 42 minutes, this single-stage route is the only one at Burgess Hill to include a 20 mph zone, and its speeds span the full range up to 70 mph. It is also the busiest for steering, with eight left and eight right turns, the most of any route here, plus eight roundabouts through Hurstpierpoint and Goddards' Green. Only four sets of traffic lights break up the drive.
