This 8.8 mile route takes about 30 minutes in one stage, heading east along Walton Road and Southcliff Park, then looping north west to Little Clacton Road. Limits run from 30 to 60 mph. It is one of only two reviewed routes at this office with no traffic lights at all, so every junction is decided on give way markings and roundabout priority.

Watch Out For

  • Sixteen give way junctions across the loop.
  • Nine school zone markers, more than any other route at this centre, with reduced limits and children near the kerb.
  • Seven pedestrian crossings and one stop sign at this junction, where a full stop is required.
