This 6.2 mile route takes about 24 minutes as a single stage through Colcot and Gibbonsdown, with limits from 20 to 40 mph. It is the shortest of the four routes at Barry and has the fewest roundabouts, seven, a lighter junction load than the longer Cadoxton loops.

Watch Out For

  • Six right turns against two left turns, so most junctions need a gap in oncoming traffic.
  • Seven roundabouts in 6.2 miles. Give way to the right, signal left on exit.
  • Narrow 20 mph streets around Broad Street, where parked cars cut the running lane.
