At 9.8 miles and about 42 minutes, this is the longest route at Barry and the one with the most traffic lights, eight in all. The single stage links The Knap, Cwm Talwg and Colcot, mixing seafront roads with estate streets, and limits stay between 20 and 40 mph. Its 19 marked turns are more than any other route from this centre.

Watch Out For

  • Eleven roundabouts, so lane choice and exit signals come round constantly.
  • A give way junction in the south of the loop needs an early look both ways.
  • A marked cycle lane where riders sit alongside you at turns.
