This single stage route covers 8.2 miles in about 33 minutes, running south from Wednesbury through Swan Village and Hall End with limits from 20 to 50 mph. It is one of the longer routes here and one of only five that uses 50 mph roads, so the pace changes far more than on the short Darlaston loops.

Watch Out For

  • Twelve sets of traffic lights, some of them multi lane with filter arrows.
  • Four roundabouts, where you give way to the right and signal left on exit.
  • A school area with a reduced limit and children close to the kerb.
  • A marked cycle lane, so check the nearside before every move left.
