This 11.3 km single stage route takes about 23.7 minutes across Joondalup, Heathridge and Edgewater at limits of 50 to 70 km/h. Nine roundabouts make it one of the more roundabout heavy drives at this centre, and with only four right turns against nine left the examiner is testing circulating and exiting far more than gap acceptance at right turns.

Watch Out For

  • Nine roundabouts, all give way to the right, with a left signal on exit and no late lane changes inside.
  • Seven sets of traffic lights, so read the phase on approach rather than at the line.
  • The 70 km/h section on Joondalup Drive before the residential limits return.
