A 12.6 mile single stage route lasting about 32 minutes, running south west through Whitlingham, Trowse Newton and Arminghall. Limits sit between 30 and 70 mph. With 12 sets of traffic signals it carries the heaviest signal workload of any route at this test centre, and there are eight roundabouts on top of that.

Watch Out For

  • Twelve signal controlled junctions, several in quick succession where filter lanes and box junctions decide your position.
  • The 70 mph Norwich Southern Bypass, joined and left by slip roads.
  • Six right turns against two left turns, so most junctions need you to hold and give way to oncoming traffic.
