A 13.1 mile single stage route of roughly 27 minutes through Postwick, Witton, Great Plumstead, Rackheath and Brundall, with limits from 30 to 70 mph. Its 15 roundabouts are the most of any route at this test centre, while just four sets of traffic signals appear, so the driving is dominated by give way decisions rather than red lights.

Watch Out For

  • Fifteen roundabouts, all give way to the right, signal left on exit and check the exit lane is clear.
  • A roundabout on the northern loop taken at speed from a 60 mph approach.
  • Country roads such as Cucumber Lane, narrow with hidden entrances.
