Route 2048 from the Irvine test centre covers about 10.0 miles in roughly 30 minutes as a single stage. It leaves Riverside Way, runs out on Annick Road, picks up Ayr Road and the seafront at Marine Drive, then returns through the town centre. Speed limits range from 30 to 60 mph, and it is currently the only route documented at this centre.

Watch Out For

  • Four roundabouts, each needing you to give way to the right and signal left on exit.
  • Four sets of traffic signals and two give way junctions.
  • A school area with a reduced limit and children nearby.
  • One marked bike lane, so check your nearside before turning.
