The only three-stage route from Midland PDA, covering 13.39 km in about 32 minutes. This route heads northeast from the centre through Great Eastern Highway to Patterson Drive in Viveash, the furthest point of any Midland route. Most driving is at 60 km/h, with short 50 and 30 km/h sections near the centre. Unlike Route #252 which covers 7 suburbs, this route stays within Bellevue, Midland, and Viveash.

Watch Out For

  • Stop sign near Clayton Street. The only stop sign across all three Midland routes. You must come to a complete stop, not just slow down. Check both directions before proceeding.
  • 14 right turns and 13 left turns. The highest right turn count of any Midland route. Right turns across oncoming traffic require careful gap selection, especially on busier roads.
  • Give way intersections near Keane Street. 4 give way signs along the route. The ones near Morrison Road come in quick succession.
  • Toodyay Road section. The route uses this 60 km/h road heading northeast toward Patterson Drive. Watch for the speed transition when turning off into quieter streets.

  • On Ashby Terrace and Sefton Avenue in Viveash, speeds drop to residential levels. Adjust promptly when entering these quieter streets.
