An 8.4-mile route heading south to Dickens Heath and Tidbury Green. Stands out for having 13 roundabouts, the most of any Shirley route, but only 2 traffic lights. Includes a 40 mph section on Dog Kennel Lane. About 32 minutes.
Watch Out For
- 13 roundabouts. Some are mini-roundabouts in the Cranmore Road residential area and easy to miss. Treat every one properly.
- School zones near Dickens Heath. Three 20 mph school zones. Active during school hours, but check signs regardless.
- Tilehouse Lane. Narrow country lane with blind bends. Stay left and be prepared to stop for oncoming traffic.
- Large roundabout near Dickens Heath. Multi-lane roundabout requiring confident lane discipline.
