- 19 traffic signals. The most at Bishop's Stortford. Concentrated along Chapel Hill and Church Road in Stansted Mountfitchet, and through the town centre.
- Bishop's Stortford Bypass (70 mph). Dual carriageway. Must reach near the speed limit. Check mirrors before any speed adjustment or lane change.
- Bury Lodge Lane. Rural road between the Bypass and Stansted Mountfitchet. Speed may be 50-60 mph with narrow sections.
- Round Coppice Road. Rural lane east of the Bypass. Limited visibility around bends at 50 mph.
