Watch Out For

  • Field End Road. Busy main road. Turning out requires patience and good gap judgment.
  • Windmill Hill. Same steep hill as #406 and #410. Maintain gear control on the descent.
  • Rickmansworth Road (40 mph). The fastest section. Watch for side roads and pedestrians crossing.
  • Only 7 right turns. Almost all direction changes are left turns or straight-on. Unusual pattern requires adjusted observation habits.
