This 10.6 km route heads northwest from Goodmayes through High Road and Cameron Road to Ley Street, then north on Hamilton Avenue to Hatley Avenue in the Gants Hill area. It loops through Veronique Gardens and Headley Drive before joining Eastern Avenue (40 mph) heading east. The return passes through Aldborough Road South and Meads Lane.

Twelve school zones - the most of any Goodmayes route. They cluster around Ley Street, Aldborough Road, and Aldborough Road South. Three stop signs at Ley Street junction, Hamilton Avenue, and another on Ley Street. Six roundabouts near the Aldborough Road junction.

With three stop signs, come to a complete stop at each one - rolling through any stop sign is an automatic serious fault. The twelve school zones require constant speed monitoring.
