Route 13 is the longest Belvedere route at 18.4 km and covers the widest area. It starts south via Barnfield Road, then east along Picardy Road and Lower Road to Picardy Manorway. The route takes Hailey Road to Eastern Way at 50 mph, heading west through Thamesmead to Western Way. You then drive through Plumstead High Street and Manton Road, returning via Harrow Manorway and Hurst Lane.

Watch Out For

Sixteen traffic signals are the most on any Belvedere route, concentrated around Plumstead High Street which is busy with buses, pedestrians, and parked delivery vehicles. The 9 roundabouts include busy junctions on Nuxley Road. The 50 mph section on Eastern Way through Thamesmead is long and fast.
