Route 12 from Belvedere heads south via Osborne Road and Bedonwell Road to Hythe Avenue, then west through Little Heath Road and Long Lane in Bexleyheath. The route extends south to Belvedere Road and Barnehurst, picking up Erith Road eastbound through Northumberland Heath to Bronze Age Way at 50 mph. The return comes via Abbey Road and Knee Hill in Abbey Wood, then Woolwich Road east.
Watch Out For
The southern loop through Hurlingham Road and The Pantiles has narrow residential streets with cars parked on both sides. The 7 roundabouts include a cluster near Bexley Road/Northumberland Heath that tests quick decision-making. Six school zones along the route need constant speed awareness.
