This 14.9 km route loops north from Barnet through Woodville Road and High Street to Hadley Highstone, then heads deep into the countryside via Kitts End Road and Dancers Hill Road to Bentley Heath. It returns south along Great North Road, then through Hadley Green Road back to the test centre. Seventeen turns total make this one of the most turn-intensive routes.
Watch Out For
Nine left turns and eight right turns in quick succession. The 40 mph section along Great North Road near Bentley Heath has a few blind bends. Five give way junctions near the test centre. Speed changes from 60 mph on Dancers Hill Road down to 30 mph approaching Hadley Green happen suddenly.
Route Features
No roundabouts but nine traffic signals. The route covers narrow village lanes on Kitts End Road where you may need to give way to oncoming vehicles. Meadway and Tudor Road are typical residential streets with parked cars on both sides.
