This compact 9.9 km route heads east from the test centre through Victoria Road and Park Road in New Barnet, then south via Cat Hill to Cockfosters. It loops through Bramley Road and Sussex Way in Southgate, returning north via Kent Drive and Cockfosters Road. The return leg passes through Hasluck Gardens. A short route that stays mostly in 30 mph zones.

Watch Out For

Eight left turns and six right turns in a short distance mean constant junction work. Three roundabouts at Victoria Road, Cat Hill, and East Barnet Road come in quick succession. Six give way junctions require careful observation. Sussex Way is a narrow residential street with cars parked on both sides.
