This Kingstanding route heads south-east from Birdbrook Road via Dyas Road and Stowell Road through residential Kingstanding. The route continues south through Epwell Road and Moor Lane to Brookvale Road and North Park Road in Erdington, then east to Slade Road. The return heads north through Summer Road back to the test centre.
Watch Out For
Eleven traffic signals dominate this route, concentrated along Slade Road and Brookvale Road. Entirely 30 mph throughout with no dual carriageway sections, so the examiner focuses on junction handling and speed consistency. Parked cars on Boswell Road and Burford Road narrow the carriageway.
