Birmingham (Kingstanding) #553 Pro
This compact Kingstanding route heads south from Birdbrook Road via Greenholm Road and Kingstanding Road to College Road. You head east through Bexley Road and Brackenbury Road, then north via Kings Road and Kettlehouse Road. The route continues to Bandywood Road in Pheasey before looping west through Queslett Road and south along Dyas Road back to the centre.
Watch Out For
Seven roundabouts with only 2 traffic signals means nearly all junctions are roundabout or give-way based. Queslett Road carries fast-moving traffic and the roundabouts here require decisive action. Brackenbury Road is residential with parked cars on both sides. The 40 mph section is brief but demands quick adaptation.
