The longest Salisbury route at 18.1 km, taking around 34 minutes to complete. It heads south through Harnham and west along Netherhampton Road to the villages of Netherhampton and Quidhampton, then north through Wilton via The Avenue before returning via Bemerton Heath. Speed limits range from 20 to 60 mph, with significant stretches at 60 mph on the rural sections.
Watch Out For
- School zones near Exeter Street. Multiple 20 mph school zones through the Harnham area. Check signs for active hours.
- Pedestrian crossings on Netherhampton Road. Five pedestrian crossings along this route. Be ready to stop, especially near the residential stretches.
- Roundabouts near Pembroke Road. 9 roundabouts total, more than any other Salisbury route except Route 736. Several cluster around the Bemerton Heath area.
- Narrow lanes around Roman Road. Residential streets with parked cars on both sides. Slow down and be prepared to give way.
