It heads west through Ballycraigy Road and Old Coach Road to Clady and Templepatrick, returning via Roughfort Road and Park Road. The route passes through Ballyhenry, Ballyrobert, and Clady with a mix of 30 and 60 mph driving. Three roundabouts and 5 traffic signals provide a balanced set of junction types.

Watch Out For

• 10 left turns. The most left turns from Mallusk. While left turns are generally easier, on narrow rural roads you must still check mirrors, signal, and position correctly to avoid mounting the kerb.
• Old Coach Road. Narrow rural lanes heading toward Clady. Limited visibility at bends and junctions. Keep well to the left and reduce speed before curves.
• Antrim Road near Templepatrick. The 60 mph section here has a busier traffic flow. Merging and turning require confident gap judgement.
• Roughfort Road junctions. Rural T-junctions with restricted sightlines through hedges. Take your time to observe.
