Cheltenham #796 Pro
A 16.0 km route from Cheltenham DVSA Test Centre taking about 33 minutes. This is one of the longer Cheltenham routes, heading north-east through Prestbury to Southam, then continuing north to Bishop's Cleeve via Two Hedges Road and Woodmancote before looping back. The route reaches 60 mph on Kayte Lane and includes varied road types from narrow village lanes to faster rural roads.
Watch Out For
- School zone near Imjin Road. 20 mph during school hours. Located close to the test centre.
- Speed change entering Swindon village. The limit drops to 40 mph. Watch for the speed sign.
- Give way on Southam Lane. After high-speed driving, check both directions carefully before joining.
- Delabere Road in Bishop's Cleeve. Residential estate with tight corners and parked cars. Keep speed low.
- Tobyfield Road. Narrow road through a housing estate. Watch for children and parked vehicles.
