A 7.4 km single-stage route from Castle Hill Service Centre that extends north into Kellyville via Wrights Road, unlike the other Castle Hill routes which stay within the suburb. This is the only Castle Hill route with a 70 km/h section on Wrights Road heading toward Windsor Road. Like Route #135, it packs 15 roundabouts and minimal turns, but the higher speed limit and wider roads near Kellyville add a different challenge.

Watch Out For

• Wrights Road 70 km/h zone. Speed increases from 50 to 70 as you head north. This is the only Castle Hill route with a 70 km/h section. Watch for the speed sign.
• Roundabout cluster near Victoria Avenue. Two roundabouts within metres of each other at the start. Same cluster as Route #135.
• Green Road residential roundabouts. Parked cars along the street can block your view of traffic approaching from the right.
• Give way at Hudson Avenue. The only give way on this route. Check both directions carefully before proceeding.

Key Tips

• 15 roundabouts again, same count as Route #135. In NSW, do not signal when entering if going straight or turning right. Signal left when exiting.
• The 70 km/h stretch on Wrights Road requires faster acceleration and earlier braking than the 50 km/h residential streets. Build up speed smoothly.
• Despite 15 roundabouts, the route has only 5 actual turns. Focus your energy on roundabout technique rather than navigation.
