This 13.3 km route from Stevenage is the shortest and fastest at just 22 minutes. Starting on Drapers Way in Old Town, it heads east on Fairlands Way through Bedwell, where it loops through Bedwell Crescent and Colestrete. The route continues east to Chells Manor on The White Way, then returns via Gresley Way through Pin Green on Martins Way and Grace Way, finishing through Walkern Road back to Old Town.
Watch Out For
Eight roundabouts with only 3 traffic lights means roundabout skills are critical. The Bedwell Crescent area has 20 mph zones and speed humps. Colestrete is a narrow residential street with on-street parking reducing road width. The White Way in Chells Manor has mini-roundabouts in quick succession.

At The White Way mini-roundabouts, signal even for going straight ahead. On Walkern Road returning to Old Town, the speed drops to 30 mph with terraced houses on both sides.
