A single-stage route from Bletchley DVSA Test Centre, covering 9.8 miles in about 28 minutes. The route heads northeast via Buckingham Road and V7 Saxon Street to the Denbigh East area, then loops south through Water Eaton and the Lakes Estate via residential streets including Oakwood Drive, Chestnut Crescent, and Drayton Road. It continues south to Newton Longville village via Stoke Road before returning via Bletchley Road and Shenley Road. This route has the most roundabouts (8) and left turns (8) of any Bletchley route.

Watch Out For

  • Stoke Road south of Bletchley. Rural road to Newton Longville with speed limit increasing to 60 mph. Narrow stretches with hedgerows reduce visibility. Watch for farm vehicles and cyclists.
  • Staplehall Road / Denbigh East. Residential area with multiple mini-roundabouts in close succession. Each requires independent observation and signalling.
  • Oakwood Drive area. Residential streets with 20 mph zones and parked cars. Two school zones are marked along the route. Drop to 20 mph even outside school hours.
  • Whaddon Way. Dual carriageway connecting to Shenley Road. Speed transition from 60 mph to 30 mph happens as you enter West Bletchley. The change is sudden.
