Watch Out For
- School zones near Monterey Boulevard. Two of six school zones on this route cluster here. 40 km/h during school hours.
- School zone near Seaford Road. Watch the electronic signs when heading toward Frankston-Dandenong Road.
- School zone near Wicklow/Belvedere area. Speed drops to 40 km/h in this residential pocket.
- 20 give way intersections and zero stop signs. The highest give way count among the signal-free routes. Every intersection requires thorough head checks.
- Candlebark Crescent area. The route extends south into quiet streets where unfamiliar drivers may lose orientation.
