Glasgow (Shieldhall) #600 Pro
The longest Shieldhall route at 14.9 km and 35 minutes, this route travels west through Berryknowes Road and Hillington, then deep into Paisley via Gallowhill and Abbot Street, loops through Renfrew via Moorpark and Haining Road, before returning along Glasgow Road. Fourteen roundabouts and 60 mph stretches make this a comprehensive test of all skills.
Watch Out For
Fourteen roundabouts require constant lane discipline - the Hillington Road roundabout has multiple exits and heavy traffic. The Renfrew Road / Cockels Loan junction in Paisley is a staggered crossroads. Speed limit changes near Hillington between 40 mph and 60 mph zones are frequent.
