A 9.7 km, single-stage route heading south from Silverwater into Auburn. Unlike the other Silverwater routes that head north, this one takes a completely different direction. It has 8 roundabouts (the most of any Silverwater route) and 6 stop signs. The maximum speed is 70 km/h, lower than the typical 80 km/h on other routes. Mostly residential driving at 50 km/h through Melton Street and Station Road.

Watch Out For

  • 6 stop signs. The only Silverwater route with stop signs. Each requires a complete stop. Rolling through any one is an automatic fail. Concentrated around the Auburn residential area.
  • 8 roundabouts. The highest count of all Silverwater routes. Approach each one ready to give way to traffic already in the roundabout.
  • 40 km/h zones near Station Road. Reduced speed zones in what looks like a 50 km/h area.
  • U-turn sign. Be aware of the U-turn marking in the Auburn area. Do not perform a U-turn unless instructed.
  • 5 give way intersections. Combined with the 6 stop signs and 8 roundabouts, almost every intersection requires a specific action.
